I have a couple of limits on my sending at the moment due to general broke-ness: - There may be a delay before I'll be able to send the book(s) out. It could be a few days or a couple of weeks, or maybe longer if I have other mooches waiting to go out. I'll always let you know how long when you make a request, or you can email me to check beforehand.
- I'm unlikely to be able to send worldwide at present, but please check with me for more info on a specific book.
A bit more information on how I define book condition:
Excellent = Looks as new, or very nearly. No creases in the spine or marks on the cover, pages in excellent condition.
Very good = May be some slight creasing of the spine and / or other minor marks on the cover. Pages in very good condition, one or two may have been folded down (a bad habit of mine, sorry!) at the corner.
Good = Some creasing of the spine and / or marks on the cover. Pages mostly in good condition, but some may be a little creased or marked, or have folded corners.
Secondhand = Well read, clearly secondhand, probably older, but in perfectly acceptable condition to read. I'll give specific information in the condition notes.

My fiction bookshelves are mainly full of sci-fi / fantasy, and historical fiction. It's all about the escapism! Non-fiction-wise, the main topics are internet / web-design, history, knitting and writing. I'm more likely to have the historical fiction on here, because that's my 'braincandy'. I binge out on reading it for a bit, then have a detox, if you like. However, I do need to have an overall weed-out, so I should get a range of genres up here in the end. Generally when I want to read a book, I'm more interested in the contents than the cover condition, so I'm happy to mooch anything that's in reasonable condition. I try to keep my books in good condition, but some of them were secondhand to start with - I've explained in my Status Message how I define book condition so that it's clear when you decide whether to mooch from me or not. |
