I'm reading multiple different Westerns at the moment. Westerns are great, especially if they are written by Louis L'Amour or Zane Grey.

I thought I'd start the year with a Classic. I'm halfway through http://bookmooch.com/m/a/amazon.com/Catcher+in+the+Rye My copy is different than the ones pictured here. I think the only Classics I've read were in school, and I don't know if they even count as classics. They were "Animal Farm" and "Lord of the Flies". As we'd read them, my teacher would dissect them chapter-by-chapter...taking all the fun out. As a result, I was never interested in reading a Classic for fun. But every time I go to a Book Sale, I find myself stocking up on them...just in case I want to try one. It seems like it's on a lot of Wishlists here, so I'll see if I have any spare copies I can add to my Inventory.

Today I went to a Church Thrift Sale, and bought Linda Howard : Ice: A Novel because it was very cheap. I read it in a few hours, that's how fast it was. I thought it was okay, but I'm not letting my mom read it cuz there was a graphic sex scene in it and she doesn't like to read that kinda stuff.
