Aims and Scope
politics aims to publish cutting-edge political analysis in an accessible format and style. The journal aims to serve two principal functions:
publishing high-quality political analysis
serving as the ‘bulletin board’ for the discipline, providing information on conducting research and teaching politics.
The scope of the journal is intentionally broad, including analysis of political events around the world and explorations of political thought. Articles and debates deal with key issues of our times, as well as covering the major themes of the discipline. politics publishes new and significant work in all subfields of politics without restriction on themes, approach or country focus. Submissions analysing the politics of countries beyond western Europe or international relations are particularly encouraged.
