I don't know if everybody is riding C-Murder's uhm..coattails because he is a rapper of if they really think this book is worth 5 stars. It is a good read, don't get me wrong but it doesn't deserve 5 stars for me. A 5 star book is one I can't put down for anything. This didn't do it. I like the book and I would recommend the reading of it. I just don't think it's "all that". Maybe it's because I am not hung up on the fact that he is an already successful rapper. (I do like his music) I gave him a star because he did a good job as an author. There were some errors, and I got so sick of "grandmama mama" pick one and call her that. It was irritating. So I just called her mama..since Daquan's mother wasn't present. The dialogue was a little hard to read, but I survived. it's easier to speak it than to read it! :0 overall it's a good book.
