Product Description
Many people have asked me questions about my experience of becoming and living as a surrogate mother. Many of these were the same questions I had asked myself before, during and after my adventure: What does this really entail? Is it dangerous? Is this something that might be right for my family? What kind of people would trust a surrogate mother to carry their child? Can I handle the responsibility? Can I really walk away from a baby that had shared my body? Why would I want to do such an enormous favor for complete strangers? As a girl growing up in northern California I dreamt of being a mother. Sometimes I would lay awake at night and think about the things I wanted to teach my children and the fun places I would take them. I planned, worked and waited for what I thought was the perfect time to start my family. I couldn’t bear the thought of my life without a family, nor could I stand the thought of it not happening for other good people like me.
