Ellen Hopkins is a fantastic author. Any author that can appeal so greatly to such a vast age group is great in my opinion. I wish I had read anything like this when i was younger, it may have saved me a lot of wasted time! :) I'll definitely be sharing Ellen Hopkins with my daughter when she's an appropriate age. I definitely recommend all of her books- the writing style is different yet it grabs you. I thought I wouldn't be drawn in when I first opened the book and saw how she writes but I was pleasantly surprised. She fast became an author that I continually look for!
