This latest installment of the Cedar Cove series focuses on Bob and Peggy Beldon after a former comrade of Bob's from Vietnam dies in their bed-and-breakfast. His murder is much on their minds as Bob once again relives war horrors and suspects that he is next on the murderer's list. Grace Sherman is learning to live with a broken heart and has no one but herself to blame. The man she loves, Cliff Harding, has left her after he finds out she has been "cheating" on him online. Grace chastises herself and prepares to spend the rest of her life alone until Cliff's daughter convinces her to fight for him. Meanwhile, Cecelia is ready to try to have another baby after the tragic death of their daughter, but husband Ian is not ready. Fans of Macomber's series shouldn't miss these stories, and readers new to Cedar Cove won't have any trouble picking up the threads of these engaging characters' lives.

44 Cranberry Point is the fourth novel in the Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. Olivia and Grace and all our favourite locals in Cedar Cove make an appearance. Olivia returns from her honeymoon with Jack and tries to adjust to married life. Grace goes all out to win back Cliff Harding after having lost his trust. Maryellen and Jon tie the knot, and there’s another surprise wedding….. The mystery of the man who died at the Thyme and Tide B&B is finally solved, but another mystery, this time involving Roy and Corrie McAfee, develops. The Cedar Cove series continues to leave the reader feeling satisfied: another Macomber classic.

Turns out his name was Max Russell, and Bob had known him briefly in Vietnam.We still don't have any idea why he came here and --- most important of all --- who killed him. Because it now appears that he was poisoned. I sure hope somebody figures it out soon! Not that we're providing the only news in Cedar Cove these days. I heard that Jon Bowman and Maryellen Sherman are getting married. And Maryellen's mom, Grace, has more than her share of interested men! The question is: Which one is she going to choose? Olivia --- I guess it's Olivia Griffin now --- is back from her honeymoon, and her mother, Charlotte (who's in her mid-seventies at least), seems to have a man in her life, too.
