This was a fairly good story, a little long, but still good. I thought the main character was, well... bitchy. But I guess she was supposed to be to figure it all out in the end. I caught on pretty quickly that Sagan wanted us to see that religion, theology and science can work hand in hand. That they are there to balance it all out. The story drug in a few places. But the last 150 pages were excellent. I think my eyes started glazing when he would talk about physics and use examples (probably to help the people understand what the heck he was talking about)! It was also a very detailed book. All and all I ended up enjoying it. Now I have to go back and watch the movie. It seemed so different from the book.
