Reviews: reading4fun (USA: FL) (2007/07/12):
I really liked this book-- I believe it was written by a man- and the story is about an adolescent girl- he did a great job--

skar (USA: DC) (2007/10/08):
I loved this book. It took me a few days to get into it but after that I couldn't put it down.

Jenny (USA: CA) (2008/02/11):
The book starts off slow, but then picks up pace with some pretty devastating events. The writer, who is male, does pick up on the female mind pretty well, however, the last half of the book goes downhill as the main character grows up.

jillysmom99 (USA: CA) (2008/02/16):
I liked this book a lot and have recommended it to all my friends. None have been disappointed.

Brooke Marie (USA: NE) (2008/04/13):
I was quite shocked that I didn't enjoy this book. I read I Know This Much Is True right before this, and was really excited to read this one. However, it starts off slow, and as the book goes on, it gets worse. Especially as she grows into adulthood. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I thought it was awful.

♥princessjulia♥ (USA: DE) (2008/06/09):
I will say this does start off a bit slow but I loved it along with everyone else I know who has read it. Almost all of my friends and my whole book club loved it as well. If you like Wally lamb or just love a great story this is it. It really gets you thinking. This story stays with me to this day.

Aylish (Australia) (2008/06/09):
It took me 3 days to read this book, I really enjoyed it, I kind of wished I'd taken it slower but I just had to see what would happen on the next page. I couldn't have picked the ending, very satisfying.

♥princessjulia♥ (USA: DE) (2008/10/07):
I read this years ago and actually still have my copy because I had planned then and still plan to read it again. I'd have to say it started out slowly for me also but when it did grab me it really grabbed me. I am still shocked when I think of how Lamb was able to portray this character so well. This is definitely different than all of his other books but definitely not to be missed just the same!

Rachel (USA: VA) (2009/04/05):
spine is broken.

fuzziebutter (USA: NY) (2009/05/03):
I really loved this book!

Lisa Hoffman (USA: PA) (2010/03/01):
Couldn't put it down.

Emily (USA: MO) (2010/04/03):
Liked it very much. Wally Lamb has a strange mind!

Rande (USA: TX) (2011/03/26):
A friend recommended I read this book, and I really enjoyed it. At times angsty and depressing, I love the messages that can be learned from the main character of this novel. I think it's a good introduction book in to the writing style of Wally Lamb. I can't wait to read "I Know this Much is True" next.
