A page-turner as almos everything written by SK, this one may dissapoint if you are lookin for a horror story. More like a supernatural adventure with some relation to the Dark Tower series. The human aspect is what makes SK different from other horror writers, and this is pretty good. Old age, abortion, social violence are the real horrors in the novel and what stays with you after turning the last page.
