smoke_099 (USA: OH) (2010/02/02): This book was recommended when a friend found out I had started getting into James Patterson. When I first picked up this book and thought about the plot and the imaginary friend and this and that, I was ready to put it back down, put it back on bookmooch and call it quiets. But for some reason I opened it and started reading. While this is not my typical book at all, I found once again that James Patterson had drug me in and I found myself unable to put it down. I just had to know what was going to happen next. I could relate with the main character in the book and know how it feels to battle self esteem issues and feel you are worth nothing. I found myself very tied to her and it wasn't long before I traded places with her and was lost once again in the life of a character from a book. While this is not his typical writing at all, you will find yourself loving it, just as you have loved his other books.
Bcteagirl (Canada) (2010/02/07): A very light short read. I wish they had spent more time describing her childhood and relationship with Micheal back then. The ending just seemed odd to me. But certainly not a bad book. 7/10.
