I have read the Sookie Stackhouse serries by Charlaine Harris and loved it, so I thought I would enjoy this book to, but that was not the case. This book was not terrible it just wasn't as on the edge of your seat as the Sookie Stackhouse series. Also, this one had a rather obvious ending. It did have an interesting premise and was somewhat well written. People who like mysteries probably would enjoy this.

Unlike the other reviewer, both my husband and I found this book riveting. This is the first book in the Harper Connelly series. Harper has an unusual talent--she can find dead people, and she can feel how they died. People hire her to find their loved ones or to find out how they died. Only trouble is, once she finds them, they want to run her out of town. So Harper and her brother Tolliver make sure they can cash the check before she does her thing, and then try to get the heck out of Dodge as quick as they can. Only this time, it's a case of finding a young girl who went missing six months before. But what she finds is the young girl and her boyfriend. Both dead. And a town with too many secrets.
