I read this book and it was a bit disturbing because there was a lot of
sexual abuse and domestic violence which I didn't enjoy reading about. If your reading this book expecting a light sci-fantasy novel..then this is not the right book for you. This book is a emotional roller coaster.

Going into this book I did not know what to expect. It was a tad confusing at first but as I read more of it I found that I was liking it. There is a big sexual element to it (obviously) and there is some child sexual abuse but that's not the main story. A lot of reviews that I had read focused mainly on the sexual abuse of the main character but it's only about one chapter of the book that goes into detail about it. The story is a lot bigger than that. I don't know if I like the ending but the overall story is very good.
