catsalive (Australia) (2009/04/20): Amazon.co.uk review Argumentative half-sisters Gresham and Eupheme are on a broken-down train when they make a bet after espying a sad trainspotter on the platform. Eupheme has to turn him from a nerdy, anorak-clad computer geek who lives with his mum into a suave, sophisticated and fashionable modern man. The task is tougher than the pair first expected. However, the nerd is having the time of his life. Llewellyn's first novel successfully creates a Pygmalion for the 1990s. It's a humorous look at the dividing line between cool and uncool, and a biting satire on urban dwellers' modern mores.
