xingyue (Singapore) (2006/10/27): Loved it. It was a very fresh view, and it almost made me cry at certain parts. Certainly very angelic from the way it was told. Quite good for a light read (: lusea (Canada) (2007/04/13): I am half way through this book and I definatly recommend it, It is a very unique book, I have never read one like it. The only reason I'm putting it up for mooching is because I snagged a hardcover copy at a library sale. Don't be put off by the description - a recently murdered teen narrates the journeys of her family and friends in the aftermath of her death. The writing is eloquent and at times heartbreaking. The conclusion, though unexpected, is exactly right. Scout (USA: PA) (2009/05/31): Fantastic book - the writing is amazing and the characters interesting and extremely human. I was captivated the whole way through. The very beginning is a little tough - it deals with the rape and murder of the main character, so beware if you are sensitive to such things - but it's completely worth it to get through. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a 'popular' book - it's definitely worth reading.
