Reviews: Ellen (USA: NY) (2007/10/28):
Love this book! I give it 5 stars!

This is a story about two girl friends and one "borrows" the other boyfriend while her friend is dating him. They completely fall in love- you think you would really "hate" the girl who takes Darcy's boyfriend- but in the end you start to see why she "stole" him away and you start to cheer for her-

Then you must read the sequel- Something Blue!

jillysmom99 (USA: CA) (2008/02/16):
Great Fun Chick Lit! And yes - you will want to turn right around and read the sequel!

Korianne (USA: IL) (2008/06/17):
addicting... I haven't read any books besides emily giffin books for 3 months now! I never expected to root for someone who pulls another away from her husband, but I found myself thinking of reasons to excuse her from the terrible betrayal of her best friend. Read the sequel you will love it just as much! Then read Baby Proof. And I have yet to read Love the One Your With, but I am sure it is just as good!

Kalli (USA: PA) (2009/01/28):
It was a good read.

Carolyn (USA: RI) (2009/05/25):
A light read, entertaining at times, not sure I like the main character's borrowed "love interest" (he seems like too much of a player til the end).

beckyme (USA: CA) (2009/08/17):
Loved this book! Quick, easy read. The sequel is also good.

cecelyyy (USA: NY) (2009/09/28):
LOVED this book. Along with Emily Giffin's three other novels!

Emily (USA: MO) (2010/04/03):
LOVED this book! It had me giggling so many times as the childhood flashbacks in the book really reminded me of my teenaged years and my BFF's from back then! (:

Joyce (Canada) (2010/10/15):
The book was definitely very hard to put down, but now that I'm finished reading it, I feel completely unsatisfied. The heroine was very weak and the hero is somewhat of a jerk. I recommend the book if you have nothing better to read.

sandra (USA: MN) (2014/08/07):
ok, admit it i saw (parts of/most of) the movie before reading the book... didn't love the movie (what i saw of it).. the book was MUCH better.... the premise of the story didn't freak me out as apparently it did others.. know WAY too many people like Darcy to ever feel sorry for her, including several childhood 'friends'... there was a lot more to this story than i thought there was from having only seen bits of the movie... you get the complexity of treading carefully through a very difficult situation for Rachel & Dex to find themselves in.. not a one night stand deal with them... loved Rachel's friend Hillary in this story.. few curses here & there.. not overly descriptive sex... a good book, makes you laugh, catches your breath, can't believe some the turns & wtf moments that happen... would have settled for Rachel to have fallen/realized she loved Ethan at the end, but glad it does a (somewhat) happy ending... unlike others who've reviewed this i am not for sure reading the next Giffin story.. a little Darcy goes a LONG way.. maybe later this year/we'll see... ;)
