-alice- (Mexico) (2012/03/27): I hated this book. I am glad I saw the movie first, which is at bes, passable. The thing with the book is that the telling of the story in "one day" every year is extremely gimmicky and not useful. Th story more or less moves along but I skipped over large parts of the movie which were perfectly boring. I'll send it to you if you want to chance it but my recommendation would be to better see the movie.
