Cristina Brittian (USA: MD) (2010/05/25): Really interesting read if you want to know more about how our food is manufactured, especially how meat is managed. Highly recommend
Mark Rubeo (USA: OH) (2012/08/08): The book does an excellent job of illustrating how messed up the industrial food system is, but its proposed solution feels very half-baked. Its convolution of science with industrial use of scientific findings is less than fair, and the author does a poor job of distinguishing actual science from pseudoscience. The book could use some fact checking as well; I found 8 inaccuracies on a semi-casual reading. It's still a solid read, but it doesn't deserve the unabashed praise it has received.
