Montreux , Switzerland , July 2, 1977 ), was a writer of Russian origin, nationalized American. He wrote his first literary works in Russian, but became internationally famous as a master of the novel with his written English work , especially his novel Lolita ( 1955 ), a portrait of American society through the metaphor of the journey , in which hatches a middle-aged man falls in love and maintains a relationship with a teenager.
