Fionn Mac Cumhail (USA: GA) (2008/04/26): Henry Green is an elegant writer and his created worlds are sensuous, sinuous, and mysteriously spiritual. These are amazing stories. The book itself, however, contains on the back notes for this entry into "Penguin Twentieth-Century Classics" the best of hilarious notes -- after V.S. Pritchett writes, "The most gifted prose writer of his generation.", then there is the squeezed in line, "Translated by W.S. Merwin" -- Huh?
