It has been well written and keeps you guessing. Freya one of the main characters appears to lead such a complex life at times developing a crush on her boss. It would have been good to have seen this relationship develop but I suppose that happens in lots of other books in this genre. She is a dedicated detective whose goal is to pursue the line of investigation into the disappearances.

I enjoyed this book and have the next two books to be read in due course.
