Cindy (USA: NV) (2011/01/27): It's fun read. There are no overwhelming bad guys - most of the plot revolves around our hero [who is introduced to her as a chef but hasn't eaten in 2000 years] trying to avoid cooking while trying to get the heroine to cozy up to him. Many characters from previous novels make an appearance but it could be read as a stand-alone or out of order.
