Tani (USA: CA) (2012/04/16): One of the best, most satisfying books I have ever read. Well worth the purchase price. It is on my bookshelf and going to remain there for rereading. There are many different threads in it in addition to the theme of finding a suitable husband for Lata: Muslim/Hindu relations, Indian customs and holidays, the touching relationship that can exist between a brother and sister, relationship dynamics in Indian families, politics (this is the only part I didn't thoroughly enjoy)...I could go on and on. The book has a huge scope.
