I loved reading this book! I had read "The Things They Carried" for a college class and loved it so much I decided to read this. It's written in the same, haunting style as "Things . . . " and it leaves you wondering what happened after his plane took off from Tan Sun Hut air base. A great narrative of style of writing. This autobiography is a great place to start if you want to learn about what life was like for a Vietnam soldier. I give it five out of five stars!
