Status message:
PLEASE NOTE: I am willing to send a limited number of books internationally, however, only if these books are difficult to find in your country. I just spent $17 to send Passage to India to Australia. It occurs to me that this very common book MUST be available through libraries or through Amazon, probably for $4 or $5. So, don't abuse us moochers by requesting books that will cost YOU a pittance, but ME a small fortune.

Bio:
I am a fledgling short story writer of literary fiction, particularly within the science fiction and horror genres. I am developing my skills using on-line resources, and am a member (for over one year,) of Show Me Your Lits, a Flash Forum in which participants write a story to a prompt within a 90 minute period. (An absolutely extraordinary site for writers of all caliber - I cannot recommend it highly enough!)

I now have 44 short stories to my name and am sending fiction out to various venues for possible publication.

Book Mooch is helping me develop my "writerly chops," and to build various literary collections. I use my mooches as tutorials, showing me how it SHOULD be done! I am a voracious reader and would be buried under forty years of books if it wasn't for Book Mooch! Now, I'm only buried under thirty years of books! ;)

I send books world-wide and am particularly pleased when prison programs mooch from me - I cannot imagine a more hungry population in need of blessed relief from boredom and in desperate need of mental stimulation. Thank you to all charities that mooch from me and of course, all my fellow addicts of literature. Mooch On!
