SLCP is a community led Playgroup & English Literacy Program (K-6) for English speaking kids in Okinawa, Japan. It brings together families who are supporting their kids English reading and writing skills at home. Okinawa has a mighty hot and humid climate, so books yellow and spot fairly quickly. Some used to be in our community library, and are stickered and stamped. We send books worldwide to Moochers who do the same. Fair is fair (^ - ^)V", and it makes BookMooch better for all. We do not send very heavy books. Books are sent via the cheaper and slower Ship/Air (SAL) - around 2-4 weeks. |
