Bio:
I love to read and I love knowledge. To me, knowledge is empowering. I have loved to read for as long as I can remember. Getting the Weekly Reader at the end of the week to bring home from school and getting to pick out 3 books to buy was a great thrill for me as a kid. I proudly turned in my order form and money every Monday morning to my teacher. Thankfully I was able to share my love of ready with my children and now as adults they both love ready as well. I mostly read non-fiction, but sometimes take a "brain break" and read great Barbara Michaels, Patricia McKillip, Marrion Zimmer Bradly, or Nora Roberts novel. I've recently discovered Charlaine Harris, Lori Handeland, Rachel Caine, Jim Butcher & Kim Harrison and I'm having great fun reading these authors. I usually have two or three books going at once. and my reading interests are as varied and eclectic as my music tastes. You never know what you will find in my library.

My husband works at a newsprint mill and they take in allot of recycled books. Often they will get top selling novels, as well as other paperbacks. If any are of interest to the employees, they are allowed to take them home. So, I sometime get some really nice AND interesting books before they hit the recycle bin :)
