I am here to read. I am not too picky. I dont want bookcrossing books other than that i am ok with old library books etc. I dont like cigerette smoke so if you smoke like a fiend, tell me that and i will attempt to find it else where. But usually i can air it out. i try to post good to like new books. If it has problems i try to post them to let you know ahead of time what you are getting. If the book is in poor condition i will pass it on locally thru the library or other means. i do carry books in my purse so they may well be dinged on the edges from travel. Bio:
i love books, of all kinds (see my wish list for how varied my interests can be. I live in a small apartment, so i can not hold on to all the books i read, so i add to my inventory often here. I work for a non profit. All poetry books I mooch are for the clients' poetry group. I also have some real health concerns. BOTH these things take priority in my world over book swaps. I also travel mainly by bus and foot. SO i can't carry more than 5/6 swaps to the po at a time. I DO MAIL ALL requests i take on. It does take me at least a week to mail out your mooches. I don't care if you want one or more. And so far i have taken all non usa swaps asked of me. If you are worried about your book not being mailed, please communicate to me and i will see if i can get it out sooner. Most my books are books i ether purchased new or mooched from this site. I do not have the transportation to shop yard sales etc. So i tend to post books in good condition. |
