3 for 2 sale. 5 for 3, etc. I mooch back one point for every two books mooched after the first book. Points are given once you mark the books received. I've had to stop sending internationally for now because it is so expensive and I am on a fixed income (plus I am floating in points). A number of my books are heavy. If mooching books weighing more than one pound (shipped) please mooch multiple books. I ship books weighing more than two pounds only as part of a multiple book mooch. I delay a week packaging books for shipping if they weigh more than one pound and are single-book mooches. I generally ship books within a week of a request. Books I can ship from home (<13 oz) I generally ship within a couple of days. Some SF paperbacks and naval history books have been stored in attic for 25+ years, unless otherwise noted. May be dusty but are in decent condition otherwise. Please ask about particular titles if this is a concern for you.
Bio:
I am 60 years old and a retired computer analyst - one whose job has gone overseas. My formal education is in chemistry (BS - Duke University 1975, PhD - Caltech 1980). I am happily married to another Duke graduate who is finally seeing her writing career start to take off. We have two children who are out of the house. I especially love science fiction and grew up on the old masters - Heinlein, Asimov, Herbert, etc. I am finally getting time to read seriously again and have joined BookMooch as a way to get books not readily available in our local library. |
