Bio:
Hi all! I'm an avid reader, as are my three sons (18,14 & 12). I love medical drama/mysteries (I'm a nurse), thrillers, some horror, anything fast paced and some sci-fi. I have just discovered Steampunk and I love it. I am generally not a romance person because they usually lack the plot I enjoy so much, however I am not totally opposed to them. The ones I have enjoyed were a romance intertwined with another plotline that I did enjoy. I also love period history novels. Some books that I have loved are: The Pillars of the Earth, Timeline, A Case of Need, Red Leaves, Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Color Purple, any of the Jeffery Deaver 'Lincoln Rhyme' Series, The Lovely Bones, The Blue Diary, Practical Magic, Lucky, Almost Moon, Bridges of Madison County, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Sunflower, Joshua, Rebecca, She's Come Undone, Waking the Dead, Velvet Elvis, any and all Anne Rice novels, and Langston Hughes, Edgar Allan Poe or Nikki Giovanni poetry.
